Recap of Warm Ups
- Lip Trill
Things to look out for : try to exhale the air downwards; if your nose itches after it, you are doing the wrong way. - Humming
Introduction of more exercises
- Cartoon Voice
- Sliding "Ng" Sound (imitating the sound of a car engine)
- Doing the "Eee" Sound (sounds like a siren)
Please follow this : 1 --- i --- 1
Things to look out for: check your voice box(close to yr neck area); when doing this exercise try not to tense your voice box, it should be done in a relaxed manner.
General Comments for the 1st group
- Most of the people are too anxious; so there wasn't a good control of using other areas or techniques in singing.
- Diction was a problem for some.
- Try not to close eyes too often; Foremost is to maintain eye contact with the crowd, but u can try to that when there is a specific part that require more feeling towards it. (Bottomline : just don't do it too often)
- Voice Expression needs improvement.
- Some of you guys had delibrately sang certain parts of their songs at a lower key. (This maybe due to the fact that you guys are afraid of hitting the high notes.)
So sorry for the delay on the update on the lesson... Was very busy with the student week ar... Anyway thats all!!! And remember the warm ups ar.. try to do them when u are free ar.... ^^

Sentosa Outing

LoL.. We really must thanks Adeline and Michelle for planning our sentosa outing (they planned for the whole thing and also prepared some of the forfeits for the day...i was damn 感动 lahz when i saw the spicy noodle..haha.. mish actually took the liberty to wake up and cook it..)Anyway i think we had fun on that not so sunny day ritez.. playing volleyball, frisbee and the indian poker game.
And yup joining a club should be this way manz.. lots of bonding and fun.. lets hope in the future we will have more outings and also that more of our members can join us!!! ^^cheers!!
